Cider and Cedar
Being a fan of a local tap room and bottle shop called Cider and Cedar, I was sad to hear about the closing of the original location. Very quickly though, that feeling was replaced by joy with Mia & Sterling announcing they were re-opening elsewhere in downtown Tacoma. Some 14 months later, and the new tap room and bottle shop were ready for primetime.
Based on their original, much smaller, location I knew this new space would be something to behold regarding the design and atmosphere. They didn’t let us down one bit. I reached out to Mia & Sterling to ask if I could supply them photos of the space for use on their website, socials, etc. They were kind enough to oblige my request and followed it up by thanking me multiple times.
This was a fun shoot that took about 5 hours and required balancing the natural light earlier in the day. The ambiance of the space was designed to be cozy, moody, warm, and inviting. The team wanted to convey these feelings all in these images. Take a look below at the resulting photos, I hope Mia & Sterling find great uses for them to draw in even more crowds.
If you are in or around Tacoma, stop in and spend an evening with friends. Mia & Sterling will know exactly what you want.
